this is something I posted up on Facebook before but I thought it was important enough to put up here too, yes, i'm talking about THAT again:
Not that I want to get hung up in my past work, but something's been troubling me for a while. I see a load of comments about how nevermore is 'reminiscent' of limbo and coma - two games that came out about a year after my latest game was released and at least 5 years after my first of the same series. It's not like me to get arsey about chronology but comments like that are very good at robbing authors of their self esteem and their pride for making something original.
Yeah, I made them like 3 years ago and shame on me for not making anything new but please appreciate that it's very frustrating.

A long time, again. Just thought id fill in anyone who still follows me on what I'm doing with my life.
So,
first of all its worth mentioning that about 6 years ago my mental health got not so great. I think in modern times we've gotten pretty bad at looking after ourselves in that regards - if a carpenter gets a nail in her hand, does she push on, believing that if she carries on making good work the nail will become less of a problem? No, she stops, takes the nail out and treats her wound. Perhaps even takes the rest of the week off if the damage is bad enough. No sane person would suggest the former but that's how we treat our

I know a load of people who have a chip on their shoulder about deviant art because of how people on here had treated them in the past. I don't know if only nice people like my art or I'm just lucky, but i feel blessed to know I've never received any venom or anger or anything, only words of encouragement from people who truly understand and celebrate the importance of community as a fuel for the artistic lifestyle, and life in general. Im really sorry if you've commented on one of my pieces and i haven't replied or anything, i'm sorry to say i don't come on here too often these

to be honest, i found Coma and Limbo through searching for more games like yours! either way, they're all nice games but i like your Nevermore series better cuz its more interactive in my opinion.
